Was my life really that corrupted? How many people got sucked into it all? An old flame wrote to me and recounted for some anecdotal entertainment one of her first experiences in meeting me. I was genuinely shocked at the vividity of it all – that I had instigated. I suppose it would be a bizarre scenario for anyone seeing me the first time in latex casually focusing a whole team off odd people, let alone someone who had never been introduced to the idea of latex porn before. In the story she mentions a film crew, the results of which are placated on youtube, in a new trailer based on a series ‘rooms to let’ by John LeBrocq filmmaker. He was doing a documentary series that was being pitched at Channel 4… About my bizarre world at that time.
In my world I was not even aware anything was out of the ordinary, but to her, it was like walking into a horror scene, which became what she refers to as her rubber corruption. I made her don her first latex catsuit for a scene. After a struggle to massage her into it and polish it up for the camera, she was mightily embarrassed but dutifully performed. Apparently she never thought the same of me, or rubber, or even her sexuality again. I realise now there were many times I dragged her along to some convention in Germany, or a photoshoot and made her ‘willingly’ dress up in rubber.
The ironic thing is in my mind at the time, I had a crew around me, and all I wanted was it to be ‘alright on the night’ and everyone to do their job. I had no idea that after this random filming session she would begin her own hoarding of latex play stuff, and after a time at distance from each other, its been really funny to recount such bizarre memories. Girls are the guiltiest people able to pervert each other. You have no idea what we get up to on an Anne Summers Sex Party night. Unless you tune in here, and I will slowly tell you all how I engage people into their rubber corruption.

Wow I had a surprise! I went clubbing to a seemingly standard nightlife club in London… And HAD to take pictures, as before my eyes RUBBER has become a commonly natural fashion mixed in with highstreet. It was a really nice refreshing change to see rubber mixing with the mainstream, as opposed to only being seen in the discrete world of fetish clubs mixed with some sordid sight I wouldn’t have the permission to share with you.
Here is a Short video clip of a particular club – ELECTRIC BALLROOM, on a Friday night, when all things spectacular from the growing Camden Fashion scene show themselves in latex.

No fear to dress up Latex Catsuit style – on a normal club night! This is not a fetish event! Am I seeing a reassurance of cultural acceptability of dress up? Is this specific to Camden in London Only?
I will be trying to find out if there are other clubs further afield with a similar level of dress up commitment to what is normally regarded as fetish wear. But the London Camdenites have firmly made a mark in accepting alternative fashion, as a challenge to artistically out dress each other. This seems to go without making some sexual statement that is normally expected at a fetish club. What is important to realize is that it is not being treated as a fetish, merely a uniform or statement of fashion.
There were also fellas a plenty also dressed up, sorry to disappoint by presenting only pictures of the ladies, but they were a lot more colorful! I’m saving my thoughts on the lads for another article, maybe to present some fashion ideas for dressing up since I am always asked so many times.
What is important to remember – is that fetish over the years follows trends and changes slowly over time, according to whatever is available or enticed us in our development. The youth culture of today will probably have fetishes, but maybe not in the same disguise of the rubber mackintoshes of times before. Fetish has refined in such a way just like fashion, that to separate generations maybe almost incomprehensible to each other. This is something I have to find out…
